Junior Health & Safety Consultant £30K (Midlands based).

The ideal candidate will have great personal skills and be able to adapt their style to meet the client’s needs. They should be good at time management and be able to prioritise work. Our clients like the small talk and enjoy the good relationships we have with them.

About the role:
  • Field and home-based. However, for the first few months expect to be office-based a few days a week so we can successfully onboard you.
  • You will use and grow your technical expertise to develop management systems, carry out site audits, produce risk assessments, and provide advice and guidance.
  • Develop client relationships and provide ongoing advice by either face-to-face meeting, Teams video calls, and telephone communication.
  • Assist consultants with project-based work.
  • Progress H&S Accreditations such as CHAS, Constructionline and Safecontractor.
  • Occasional overnight stays.
  • Design and delivery of training, seminars, and facilitation of workshops and webinars.
The ideal candidate:
  • Will have a NEBOSH/NCRQ/NVQ qualification (or similar) at a minimum of Level 3 or a degree in Occupational Safety & Health.
  • Will have a full, clean driving license.
  • Has a willingness to learn and develop further.
  • Has a flexible approach to work. Some days are short, and some days are long!
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have good written and oral communication skills.

What matters is your ability to treat our clients well. The successful candidate will be able to clarify complex health and safety information so that our clients understand it.
